A sprout is the first little shoot that grows up out of the ground. That is the idea behind Kulturspiren (“the culture sprout”): little sprouts that grow big.

Some things you see and immediately think: my kids need this. This mug is for the parents who drive to practice, cheer from the bench and watch their kids grow, on the dance floor and in life.

On one side is the Kulturspiren logo: a yellow dancer growing up out of two green leaves, with “Kulturspiren” in dark green below. On the other side: “HIP HOP DON'T STOP!!” in green and gold, a breaker, an ’80s boombox and icons for the four elements of hip hop: breaking, DJ, MC and graffiti.

Behind Kulturspiren is Fredrik Otterbech, Norwegian breakdance champion in 1984, who has lived with breaking and hip hop for more than four decades. He wants to take care of the culture and pass it on to new generations: the joy, the community and the respect for each other.

A great Christmas gift for the kids, or for you who are with them all the way.

Bonus: 12% off the book
The book is not included in this product, and it is not finished yet. When you buy this, you get a code for 12% off the book “The Power of Attention in Light and Darkness” (Norwegian title: «Oppmerksomhetens kraft i lys og mørke»). The code comes in your order confirmation email. You can use it now to pre-order the book – the digital edition is sent to you as soon as it is finished. Or you can use the code when the book comes out. The printed book is planned for summer 2027, maybe sooner – it may take a little longer because it goes through a publisher, but it will also be sent to you when it is ready. The digital edition will probably come earlier, because printing takes time.
