What is a cypher, a burn or a windmill? “Breaking from A to Z” explains 35 common breaking words briefly and simply, for kids, teens and parents.

More than a word list: the booklet also explains the culture behind the words – why you shouldn’t “bite” other people’s moves, what happens in a cypher and at a jam, and how DJ Kool Herc played the break over and over again. Each word has a short explanation in your language, and you get tips for using the words in practice and when you watch battles.
