Breaking is at the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar 12–13 November 2026. This short PDF helps families watch the broadcast — then practice safely at home with an adult nearby.
What you get (8 A4 pages):
- Simple schedule (Dakar GMT + CET) and who to cheer: B-Boy Ill Will (Denmark) and B-Girl Krazy (USA) — names only, no portraits
- 8 safe beginner moves: toprock, footwork, baby freeze, handglide, backspin, swipe, mini combo and home cypher
- Figures from Kulturspiren’s approved answer key (baby freeze, handglide, backspin, swipe)
- Safety rules: adult nearby, soft floor, never a shoulder freeze, roll out of freezes
For: families with kids who want to watch the Youth Olympics and try a little breaking afterwards. No experience needed.
By: Fredrik Otterbech, Norwegian breakdance champion 1984.
