What is “Breaking Step by Step”?
An illustrated 47-page PDF guide from Kulturspiren for children and parents who want to start breaking (breakdance) and electric boogie at home. Every step has numbered pictures, counting in time with the music and a marker showing where your weight should be. The guide covers toprock, footwork, six-step, freezes, swipe, electric boogie (including moonwalk and King Tut), battles and an 8-week plan.
What age is the guide suitable for?
Children from about age 7 together with an adult, and teens on their own. No dance experience is needed.
How do I get the guide?
Right after purchase you receive a download link in the order confirmation email. The link works as many times as you like, so keep the email. Nothing is sent by post. If you can't find the email, check your spam folder or contact us.
Which languages is the guide available in?
Norwegian, English, Swedish, Danish, German, Japanese and Chinese. The links to all languages are in the order confirmation.
Can I print it?
Yes. The guide is in A4 format and designed to be printed at home, in colour or black and white. You may print as many copies as you need for your own household. The guide is for personal use and must not be shared.
Can I cancel my purchase?
When buying the digital guide, you agree that the download starts immediately and that your right of withdrawal then lapses. If the file doesn't work, we'll sort it out. Caps and mugs come with a 14-day right of withdrawal. See the return and refund policy.
Is it safe?
Breaking is physical activity. The guide has its own chapter on warming up and safety. Practise on a soft, non-slip surface with plenty of space around you, take breaks, and always have an adult present when children practise. Freezes and power moves should be learned gradually.
